New Life Ministry

Reflection

Alive only through the blood of Jesus…

Otherwise we are dead! This is like being in a hospital, in the recreation ward (separated from the world, isolated from its filthiness, protected from the bacteria of this world) getting you dirty blood drained out and receiving a transfusion of new blood – pure and life-bringing…

This is what happened to us on the cross – Christ was our transfusion line and His blood was poured into us, His blood began to fill each one of our cells, capillaries, and veins. And when this process was over, a new person rose from the grave, completely new, abounding in life and unable to stand still…

This person is yearning to do Dad’s will. If there had been no blood transfusion, then there would have remained nothing but a dead body…

‘It is no longer I who live, but Christ in me…’

This means that Love takes full control of you and does through you what it wants. You no longer have a will of your own but His will; you are like a puppet moved entirely by His Spirit. You become totally dependent on Christ.

When the revelation of Christ on the cross becomes live in you, all barriers and frontiers fall down. The old person is crossed out of life. Now the living water is in you, life is in you – HIS BLOOD, THE ONE WHO IS THE MOST ALIVE OF ALL LIVING LIVES IN YOU through His power, His authority, His character, His annointment, His glory, His discipline, His love, His joy…through the fullness of His life He is in you and me…

Completely Changed - John 3:16

Christ took us out of the garbage of this world, washed us clean with His blood, clothed us in valuable clothes – in His holiness – put a ring on our fingers, and called us sons and daughters. We were thrown out on the junkyard of this world because of our sin, but Christ stepped down from His throne leaving all treasures and glory to search for us…

Where is this junkyard? Just like Heidi Roland went to the junkyard of Mosambic, just like we search out the junkyard of Athens to find the cast away whom nobody wanted in their churches because they were dirty and smelly, because they had no money or treasures that a church could benefit from… But Jesus came and found us and lifted us up high in His kingdom, He ushered us into the halls of feast and let us celebrate. We are now blind and deaf to this world, to its lies and illusions…

LOVE fills you to the brim so that looking in the mirror of the cross you can see and realize you are a completely new person. He drained the cup not leaving a single drop for us. His love in us takes us to the junkyard and when we find a treasure (lost souls) our hearts explode with joy more than if we found a pure diamond…

This feeling is hard to describe; one cannot understand it unless they are filled with the revelation …

Galatians 5:16-26

‘So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.

The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambitions, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies and the like. I warn you, like I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS AND SELF-CONTROL. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.’
